Born
in Florida, Gavin Leighton is an actor, producer and musician currently
residing in Los Angeles. He has been performing in the theatrical
arts for most his life. In high school, he received high scores
in regional and state level thespian competitions. He received his
BA in theatre, BS in psychology and a masters in business management
from the University of Florida. There he was involved in many productions
and toured in Europe performing Shakespeare. Gavin studied advanced
Arthur Lessac Voice Technique and has studied singing and voice
technique with well-known coaches such as Mark Baxter and Gil Magno.
He has also studied improvisation at UF and at the Groundlings Theater
in Los Angeles.

Gavin
has studied music most his life. He started playing piano at age
8, guitar at 13, and has been recording music for the past 14 years.
Gavin's compositional work can be heard in the political horror
rock musical Barackula - The Musical. Several original songs are
also available to listen to and download in the portfolio section
of this site. Gavin has also been highly trained in all styles in
ballroom dance at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
